Air Classifying Mill (ACM) from Botek machinery is a versatile grinding system that integrates a high-speed impact mill with a dynamic air classifier. It works in a closed-loop process: material is fed into the grinding chamber where rotating hammers pulverize it. The fine particles are then carried by the airflow to the integrated classifier wheel. The classifier precisely separates particles by size: fine particles that meet the target size pass through, while coarse particles are recirculated back for further grinding. The key is the integrated dynamic air classifier. Unlike simple hammer mills, our ACM features a variable-speed classifier wheel that acts as a precise sizing gate. It allows only particles smaller than the cut point to exit. Oversized particles are continuously returned for grinding.
